Birth doulas in Central Denver
With doula services, you can have all the support you need with the birth experience you want.
If you are considering a doula-assisted birth, Rose Women's Hospital in Central Denver offers the Rose Doulas Program.
What is a doula?
Doulas — or labor assistants — provide continuous and attentive care for you and your partner during labor and childbirth.
What a Rose Doula does
Doulas do not provide medical care, but they do provide emotional and physical support for families. Doulas use relaxation techniques such as massage, touch, position, and breathing. Doulas do not replace your birth partner but rather assist you and your partner in having the birth experience you desire. Doulas are there to support your family whether you choose a medicated or unmedicated labor and delivery. Rose Doulas also provide support during Cesarean births.
For more information about our birthing doulas please call (303) 320-2001.
Our doula care services
The Rose Doulas Program includes a network of experienced, passionate doulas, known as Rose Doulas, credentialed at our facility.
Selecting your labor doula
You can get to know the Rose Doulas by reviewing their bios, videos and testimonials below and attending our monthly webinar about the Rose Doula Program. Unfortunately, we cannot offer individual interviews as part of the selection process. Please use the profiles below and the webinar to make your choice. Once you choose your doula, you will have an opportunity to get to know each other. This includes a virtual consultation about your upcoming birth experience, your vision for your doula's role and anything else you would like to share.
Following that conversation, you are encouraged to text, email or call your doula with any questions as you count down to your due date.
What to expect from our doulas
Starting early on the day of delivery, you will be in contact with your Rose Doula by phone and text. Then, when you are ready to have your doula join you, you will call (not text) your doula. They will arrive at Rose Medical Center within one hour.
Please note that Rose Doulas do not provide postpartum services. If you are interested in getting more information about postpartum doula care, you will have to seek care outside of the hospital.
Free webinar about our doula services
Our virtual doula webinars take place one Wednesday a month from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. If you are interested in partnering with a Rose Doula for childbirth, register for our free online doula webinar.
